Abstract	Cucurbita maxima have been a traditional plant in India. Irrespective of its nutritional value it has proven pharmacological value. The current study focus mainly on collection of articles related to various chromatographic isolation studies on cucurbita maxima. This study gaves a wide exposure of various parts of cucurbita used with respective to various parts of cucurbita used with respective to various chromatographic techniques leading to the profile of biologically active compounds
