Abstract | This report is highlighting the untouched and unheard aspect of our society, though it is yet not unexperienced. Sadly, many of us have faced sexual traumas in our childhood, yet not everyone wants to discuss about them. Though not every sexual offence is a pedophilic act, yet many are due to the same. Here, in this report we are going to highlight some aspects of pedophilia, its effect on one’s psychology be it an offender, a victim. We are also going to highlight the importance of rehabilitation in such cases and the need to provide a room to rehabilitate, so that they can come out to live a normal and healthy life. In this report we have conducted a random survey and have collected 101 responses from people asking them if they have ever been subjected to pedophilia directly or indirectly. Sadistic reality shows many of them have been subjected to such incidents, leaving them in horrific shade. This paper tries to explore the effects, causes, and impacts of pedophilia and how can one be brought back to normal life. |
