Abstract The study seeks to determine the influence of work-life balance on job satisfaction of employees in merchandising enterprises in the City of Mati, Davao Oriental, Philippines. To achieve the objectives of the study, a correlational research design was employed to analyze data collected through a structured survey questionnaire. The 389 respondents were selected using a purposive sampling method. The collected data from the survey were analyzed through multiple linear regression and analysis of variance (ANOVA). The study discovered that most of the indicators of work-life balance have a significant influence on job satisfaction. It was also discovered that there is no significant difference in work-life balance when grouped according to age and gender. There is also no significant difference in job satisfaction in terms of age, however, results showed a significant difference in job satisfaction in terms of gender.
