Email Spam Detection in the Age of Cyber Threats: a Comprehensive Approach Integrating Cleaning, Analysis, and Modeling

Abstract	With the escalating sophistication of cyber threats, the imperative task of safeguarding email communication from spam has become increasingly challenging. This research presents a holistic approach to email spam detection, incorporating meticulous data cleaning, in-depth exploratory data analysis (EDA), and advanced modeling techniques. The study delves into the performance evaluation of diverse machine learning classifiers, including Gaussian Naive Bayes, Multinomial Naive Bayes, and Bernoulli Naive Bayes. Exploratory visualizations, such as word clouds and bar plots, contribute to a comprehensive understanding of the textual content in spam and ham messages.
