Abstract | ABSTRACT : Psychosomatic disorders among college students have emerged as a significant concern in the realm of mental health, given their potential impact on overall well-being and academic success. This review paper delves into the prevalence, risk factors, and consequences of psychosomatic disorders in college-going individuals. Through an extensive analysis of existing literature, the paper elucidates the multifaceted nature of these disorders, encompassing both physical and psychological dimensions. Furthermore, the review examines the unique stressors inherent in the college experience that contribute to the development and exacerbation of psychosomatic symptoms. By exploring coping strategies, interventions, and preventive measures, the paper aims to provide insights into mitigating the adverse effects of psychosomatic disorders among college students. Ultimately, the findings underscore the importance of addressing psychosomatic disorders as a risk factor in college settings to promote student well-being and academic success. |
