Abstract The Characteristics of all that can be conceptualized and hence named and defined in the world through comparison and contrast is the Science of VaisheShika (1) [2]. In this paper our emphasis is to examine vaisheshikatriya the sutras of kanadsal though the important commentary by the fifteenth century schelorsinha [3] and sankaramisra [4] will also be used for clarification , whenever necessary.
