In addition to precisely counting chickens, this technology recognizes and instantly notifies farmers of any dangers from predators. It uses YOLO V8's skills to identify and categorize common predators and poultry species. Raptor Shield Edge, which uses edge computing, provides effective, independent performance that improves farm management and efficiency. This technology promises better farm management techniques and animal welfare, marking a breakthrough in smart agriculture.
