Abstract | The protection of child rights is crucial for the well-being and development of every child, serving as a legal instrument to safeguard them from exploitation and pitiable plight. However, the implementation of these laws faces challenges due to insufficient human resource capacity and the quality of prevention and rehabilitation services. This paper provides an overview of the current state of child rights in India, emphasizing the need to address the challenges faced by children in conflict with the law and the importance of comprehensive policy and legal frameworks to protect them. |
