It evaluates the impact of GST on export competitiveness, highlighting improvements in cost competitiveness for exporters and challenges related to compliance and administrative procedures. Additionally, the study examines the implications of GST on trade infrastructure, import decisions, and trade flows, emphasizing the importance of investing in trade infrastructure to enhance efficiency and facilitate smoother cross-border transactions. Evidence-based policy recommendations are provided to address implementation challenges, enhance competitiveness, and promote inclusive growth.
