Abstract Aims and objectives of the study: Assess the pre-test knowledge scores regarding stress and coping strategies of patients with dengue fever among staff nurses in selected hospitals, Udupi district. Evaluate the effectiveness of structured teaching programme on knowledge regarding stress and coping strategies of patients with dengue fever among staff nurses in selected hospitals, Udupi district. Find out an association between pre-test knowledge score on stress and coping strategies of patients with dengue fever and selected demographic variables.
