Abstract | Non-invasive method of drug administration are transdermal patches, it is an adhesive patch designed to deliver a specific dose of medication through the skin and into the blood stream through the body, it has so many advantages over other routes of adminisstration, for instance it is less invasive patient friendly and has the ability to by pass 1st pass metabolism and the distructive acidic environment of the stomach that occurs upon the oral ingestion of drug’s. |
