Abstract The research investigates how femininity is represented in animated films by comparing the characters of Mulan and Cinderella. While Mulan portrays a strong and independent female lead, Cinderella adheres to traditional gender norms. The study aims to analyze how animated films can reinforce or challenge gender stereotypes and emphasizes the importance of diverse and inclusive media portrayals.
