Abstract | Particular metal ions played vital role in functioning of enzymes. In this following discussion we concentrate over oxo bridged diiron III,III centers. Fe–O–Fe is playing important role in many enzymes like hemerythrin, ribonucleotide reductase, methane monooxygenase etc. Presence of metal ions in active centers may facilitate the electron transfer process. |
Keywords | Oxo-bridge, Di-iron, Hemerythrin, ribonucleotide reductase, methane monooxygenase. |
