A Study on Risk and Return Analysis of Selected Private Sector Banks in India

Abstract	The study examines determinants of risk and growth for five commercial banks in the period 2018-2022. A bank's growth depends on its profitability and other variables of size, asset type, financial structure, earnings dispersion and other independent variables. This paper presents a portion that quantifies how internal determinants and external factors contribute to the performance of selected private Indian banks. Finally, size and asset structure are two variables that show significant correlations with bank profitability.
