Abstract The COVID-19 pandemic has disproportionately affected women in the workforce, leading to a significant setback in gender equality gains. This paper examines the multifaceted challenges faced by women in returning to work post-pandemic and proposes strategies to address these challenges. It explores the impact of caregiving responsibilities, remote work dynamics, and systemic barriers on women's employment. The paper highlights the importance of implementing policies that promote flexible work arrangements, affordable childcare, and support for career advancement. Additionally, it underscores the need for organizational and cultural shifts to create inclusive workplaces that value diversity and support women's career progression. By addressing these issues, policymakers, employers, and society can facilitate the successful reintegration of women into the workforce, fostering economic recovery and advancing gender equality in the post-pandemic world.
