Abstract | Education is one of the secondary needs of man. It holds the key to the society’s growth and socio-economic development. India is rapidly developing as the knowledge economy in a fast globalizing world through education. With the evident of globalization, the Indian higher education system has introduced the innovations in teaching- learning and made a considerable progress. Globalization 4.0 is the latest phase of globalization which involves advanced or new technologies like artificial intelligence, big data analytics, machine learning, nanotechnology, 3D, 5G technologies that powers forward with the explosion of Information Technology. These Technologies shrink physical distances, open up borders and minds and bring people all across the globe closer together. This process also has impact on higher education sector. |
