Abstract This research investigated the relationship between components of the ERS-RS (attachment-related anxiety and attachment-related avoidance) and Self Esteem. The aim was to understand the impact of attachment-related anxiety and attachment-related avoidance on self esteem of young adults. The study sample consisted of young adults (18-25 years), and the results revealed significant and negative associations between attachment-related anxiety and attachment-related avoidance and self esteem.
