Abstract | Non-performing assets are currently a major obstacle for the Indian banking sector to overcome. The quality of assets and efficiency of banks are directly proportional. An asset which includes any leased asset becomes non-performing when it ceases to generate the coveted income for the group. This paper analyses the growth of some selected NPA variables and compares them with the banking performance indicators. |
