Abstract | This research paper examines the dynamics of drug peddling among young adults in Central and West Chennai city. This quantitative study mainly focuses on the age distribution, regional disparities, and accessibility of drugs, and implications for intervention strategies. This article explores various influencing factors which eventually contribute to the peddling of drug among the young adults and indulging in illicit activities. By adopting evidence-based interventions and fostering collaboration between policymakers, and law enforcement agencies, we can work towards mitigating the adverse effects of drug peddling and creating a safer environment for young adults in Chennai. |
