Abstract | onomastics is the study of the formation, etymology and propagation of proper nouns that allow linguists to discover, restore and identify geographical elements of the amazigh language. in this article, we tried to study the lexicon related to hydronomy (a field of onomastic) in the Tachlhit language, language used in southern Morocco. This research allowed us to identify the language specific to irrigation in the amazigh language, evidently the various linguistic and cultural references that the toponymy entails (geographical and technical vocabulary). |
