An Analysis of Agricultural and Horticultural Marketing in Jharkhand

Abstract Agriculture marketing system in developing countries including India can be understood to arrange of two most important sub–systems such as product marketing and input marketing. Jharkhand is one of the most important producers of vegetable in India. About 3.2% of the gross cropped area of the state is under vegetable crops. The most important vegetable crops grown in the state in order of area covered by them are potato, tomato, lady finger, peas, cauliflower, brinjal and cabbage. The purpose of the study the paper to study of the present situations of the agricultural and horticultural marketing in Jharkhand and the agriculture and horticulture marketing channels in Jharkhand.
