Abstract	Speed humps are the traffic calming devices and are extensively used to reduce traffic speed on local streets. Conventional speed breakers are made up from concrete or asphalt. Apart from traffic calming these have many dis-advantages like wear & tear of vehicle components, noise pollution, health issues like back paining, distress experienced by driver etc.
