Abstract The study examines the integration of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) techniques into Saudi Arabia's K-12 curricula through a systematic literature review. This evaluation is crucial to assess the impact of STEM education in the country, particularly in the context of Vision 2030 reforms focusing on human capital development and knowledge-based industries. This current review has shown that interventions to change by way of implementing the new Science and Mathematics curriculum have brought about changes to the instructional strategies of the K-12 STEM teachers. The review of the selected paper highlights the importance shown towards providing professional development training for K-12 STEM teachers. The findings of this review stress the need for future research on barriers to implementation, integration and cultural acceptance of STEM Education in Saudi Arabia.
