Abstract Bharati Mukherjee's trilogy, consisting of Desirable Daughters (2002), The Tree Bride (2004), and Miss New India (2011), delves into themes of identity, cultural conflict, and transformation. This paper explores the narratives and characters within these novels, examining how Mukherjee addresses the complexities of Indian and Indian-American experiences.
