Abstract | The purpose of this article is to investigate the Scope 3 emissions of the cement sector. Scope 3 emissions include indirect greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions that arise from the manufacturing and usage of cement. It is essential to conduct an analysis of Scope 3 emissions since the cement industry is a major contributor to the world emissions of greenhouse gases. The purpose of this study is to provide a complete review of the Scope 3 emissions produced by the cement sector, their impact on the environment, and related issues. In addition to this, it discusses the actions that have already been taken by the cement industry to lower Scope 3 emissions and makes suggestions for further actions that can be taken to lower emissions..” |
