This paper aims to highlight the potential benefits and challenges of integrating blockchain technology into educational environments, emphasizing security, transparency, and credential verification as key areas of focus. Blockchain technology offers transformative potential in the field of education, particularly in credential and certification processes, providing secure, transparent, and globally accessible solutions for verifying academic achievements and professional skills. As blockchain technology continues to evolve, further advancements and case studies specific to enhancing privacy in educational processes are expected to emerge, addressing the unique challenges and regulatory requirements associated with handling sensitive educational data. Further R&D in blockchain technology within the education sector holds promise for addressing existing challenges, unlocking new opportunities, and advancing the capabilities of educational institutions worldwide. |
