Author(s) | SHRISHTI YADAV |

Country | India |
Abstract | Writings on the partition of India often discuss the politics of the partition, therefore neglecting stories behind the veil concerning women and Dalits. The paper strives to address the condition of Dalit women who were doubly marginalized both because of their class and gender. Women were also cleaved away from their children which altogether is a different trauma and questions the idea of post partition motherhood . |
