Abstract | Blood: A Matter Of Life And Death is a unique initiative that simplifies blood donation by eliminating issues like donor shortages, long search times, and limited availability. The website uses location-based services to connect donors and recipients, reducing waiting times and risks. A sophisticated ranking system ensures an active donor pool, and direct communication channels facilitate matching blood types. Only individuals under 60 can register to donate, and a temporary donor-blocking mechanism encourages continued participation. Data management is securely stored within an SQLite database server, enhancing privacy and efficiency. This approach supports a safe and reliable blood donation process. |
