Abstract | (Crux of the paper) Haryana's MSME Sector: Growth Potential and Lessons from Leaders This research paper examines Haryana's MSME sector, a key driver of the state's economy. While Haryana boasts a robust MSME ecosystem, it lags behind leading states like Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu. The paper explores: Strengths and Weaknesses: How does Haryana compare to other states in terms of MSME development? Learning from Leaders: What best practices can Haryana adopt from successful MSME models in other Indian states? Collaboration Potential: Are there opportunities for interstate collaboration to strengthen the national MSME landscape? By analyzing Haryana's MSME growth, government initiatives, and comparing them to leading states, the paper aims to identify areas for improvement. This includes policy analysis, skill development programs, and cluster development strategies. The research proposes that Haryana can achieve significant growth by: Focusing on sectoral diversification beyond its strengths in textiles and garments. Enhancing managerial skills and cost control measures within MSMEs. Promoting regional development to spread growth beyond major industrial hubs. The paper concludes by highlighting the importance of interstate collaboration and knowledge sharing for a more robust national MSME landscape that fosters future generations of entrepreneurs. |
