Abstract | Traditional ethnoveterinary medicine has developed over generations within various parts of world even before the era of modern medicine. Modern day problems of emergence of multidrug resistant organisms and a decrease in newer antibiotics has been also a primary factor for Veterinarians to revisit the ancient healing methods by using traditional and alternative medicine in wound management. Several studies using herbal and traditional medicine from different countries have been documented in wound care management in animals. |
