Abstract Shannon's Information Entropy model has been modified such that it is free from limitations like human variability, and tesxt sample bias.
Redundancy in the English language has been calculated which decides the compression of the data file. The Information entropy in bits per character is calculated from the extended calculation based on our model and has been compared with the ASCII representation of 8 bits per character.
