Abstract | Gender politics and the feminist movement have gained prominence in the literary world in recent years. Virginia Woolf’s A Room of One’s Own is a classic feminist text that explores the challenges women face in society and the literary world. Woolf’s ground-breaking work has inspired countless women to pursue their dreams and fight for gender equality. In A Room of One’s Own, Woolf argues that women need their own space, both physically and metaphorically, to explore their creativity and fulfil their potential. The essay delves into the issues of gender discrimination and oppression that women face in society, particularly in the literary world. Woolf argues that women writers have been marginalized and prevented from reaching their full potential due to societal expectations and constraints. |
