Abstract | Geographic Information Systems (GIS) have revolutionized the integration of remote sensing technologies in IT operations. By enabling spatial analysis and data visualization, GIS provides a framework for synthesizing vast amounts of geospatial data to support IT decision-making. This paper explores the theoretical underpinnings of GIS in remote sensing and its applications in IT operations. Through case studies, the paper examines successful integrations, challenges, and the transformative impact of GIS-driven insights. Additionally, the study provides diagrams to illustrate GIS workflows, data integration techniques, and use cases. |
