Abstract | Artificial intelligence (AI) technologies have rapidly evolved and are increasingly integrated into various aspects of society, including commerce, healthcare, law enforcement, and governance. While AI offers numerous benefits, such as enhanced efficiency and decision-making capabilities, its widespread adoption raises significant concerns regarding privacy rights and data protection. This research paper examines the legal implications of AI in relation to privacy rights and data protection, focusing on the challenges of balancing innovation with the need to safeguard individual privacy. By analyzing relevant laws, regulations, and case studies, this paper explores the ethical, social, and legal considerations surrounding AI technologies and proposes strategies for achieving a harmonious balance between innovation and privacy. |
