Tirunelveli Experience of Wide-Awake Local Anesthesia No Tourniquet (WALANT) Hand Surgery

Abstract	We are presenting our experience with12 Hand Surgical Patients treated with the WALANT principle (Wide-awake Local Anesthesia No Tourniquet) and validate the benefits of this brilliant technique during the COVID Pandemic in a less resourced region of India. These Hand Challenges were mainly Trauma, which was successfully treated by the Senior author using the WALANT standard. The results had revealed big satisfaction in all the patients and happiness to the surgeons.
