Abstract | This paper explores the challenges faced by LGBT individuals in the workplace, including discrimination from colleagues, superiors, and company policies. Surveys reveal high rates of harassment and mistreatment, despite legal protections. Prestigious companies like Apple and Burger King are leading efforts in promoting LGBT inclusion. The paper advocates for open-minded leadership in creating inclusive, discrimination-free environments, crucial for fostering healthier work cultures. It also proposes innovative solutions for improving equal access to employment, supportive workplaces, and career success for the LGBTQIA+ community, with a focus on India. |
