Abstract The ethical implications of deepfake technology are profound and demand our immediate attention. As technology rapidly evolves, the risks associated with the misuse and manipulation of digital content become increasingly apparent. Deepfake technology, capable of producing incredibly convincing fake videos and audio recordings, raises alarming concerns about privacy violations, the spread of misinformation, and the potential for malicious exploitation. It is imperative for researchers and policymakers to confront these ethical challenges head-on and implement robust measures to safeguard individuals and society as a whole.
