Abstract | Universities in addition to paying attention to students cognitively must also pay attention to the field of effective and psychomotor. Character development management can produce good results, if done with good strategies as well. Tough character consists of three aspects, namely control, commitment and openness to emerging challenges, character development is influenced by several factors, namely internal factors and external factors, these two factors must support each other. Character development aims to form students who are resilient in life and do not become human beings who easily give up. Planning for character development is the main step in carrying out the intended development. Character development must also include all university residents to support each other for the realization of students who have strong characters, and can compete with the real world. |
