Abstract | The paper elaboratively explains about Rule of Law, its evolution over the period of time in the western world and its reflections in the Indian systems. Rule of law has left deep impressions in the interpretative aspects of constitutional jurisprudence and moulded the obiter dictum of the judgments worldwide. History of rule of law, how it developed over the period of time and its contemporary relevance. Each concept is explained with a reference to a case to evaluate its practical applicability. |
