Abstract | This paper examines the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Bhuvan data to enhance agricultural development and drive economic empowerment in Pune District, Maharashtra, India. GIS technology has been instrumental in optimizing water management, land utilization, and crop management. Likewise, Bhuvan data plays a critical role in monitoring crop growth, identifying diseases, and evaluating land use patterns. These advancements contribute to improved crop yields and increased profits for farmers. The paper highlights the significant impact of GIS and Bhuvan data in promoting agricultural progress in Pune district and suggests that these tools could be effectively implemented in other regions to achieve similar benefits. |
