A Web-based Platform that Enables Small Businesses to Set Up an Online Store and Sell their Products to Customers

Abstract The platform was designed to meet the business and user requirements, which were identified through a requirements analysis process. The platform enables users to create an account, set up their store, add products, manage inventory, process orders, and accept payments. The front-end was designed using ReactJS, which provides a fast and responsive user interface. The back-end was designed using NodeJS, which provides a scalable and efficient server-side framework. The platform's security was also designed to ensure that users' information and transactions are protected.

The user manual provided clear instructions on how to use the platform, including user registration and login, product management, inventory management, order management, payment processing, and sales and customer data analysis. The appendix provided additional materials, including screen captures of the platform, source code snippets, a user survey questionnaire, and a glossary of technical terms.

In conclusion, the development of this web-based platform provides a solution to the challenges faced by small businesses in setting up an online store. The platform's ease of use, scalability, and security make it an ideal solution for small businesses seeking to establish an online presence. Further development and marketing of the platform can help more small businesses reach a wider.
