The Malay-Muslim Identity in Relation to non-Muslim Public Roles: A Social Psychological Perspective

Abstract This article revealed that the psychological reaction of the Malay religious identity is more than that of religious teachings. The elements involved are strong self-identification as land ownership and special position granted by the Federal Constitution, which created differentiation or boundary between Muslims and non-Muslims.
