Mutual Fund vs Bank Deposit

Author(s) AMIT KUMAR, SHILPA BAHL
Country India
Abstract Investing in mutual funds has become increasingly common over the past two decades. The expansion of the mutual fund industry in India is reflected in an increase in both the number of schemes and the total sum invested. It is essential for a combined fund to operate effectively due to the millions of individual contributors. The success of a fund can be better understood in the context of other funds operating in the same industry. The primary motivation for conducting this investigation was to compare and contrast the yields provided by local term deposit banks and mutual funds. Analysts consider the typical buyer when employing standard statistical methods like aggregating and rate of return.
