Abstract The study shows us the impact of Intercultural Communication and Globalization on the Santhals of West Bengal, India. It is a descriptive study in which an in-depth interview of 10 participants belonging to the Santhal community in West Bengal was taken in which seven questions were asked to each. The reaction of the Santhals when they are asked about their culture is very friendly and they willingly share information about their culture as said by all the participants yet language sometimes creates a barrier in communication. Santhals migrate to big urban cities for various push and pull factors of migration. Participants reportedly said that there is a change in the lifestyle of Santhals due to Modernization and they have gained knowledge about modern technologies which helped them to earn more. Furthermore, Santhals felt dominated by the other caste and often get influenced by Western culture and forget their own culture.
