Abstract | Health promotion is a multifaceted approach to enhancing overall well-being, particularly among college students who face increasing health challenges. This study emphasizes the importance of adopting healthy lifestyles, integrating physical and mental health strategies, and fostering supportive environments to improve student health. Guided by the Health Belief Model (HBM), the analysis explores key constructs such as perceived susceptibility, perceived severity, perceived benefits, barriers, cues to action, and self-efficacy to understand and predict health-related behaviors. The findings highlight the role of comprehensive interventions, including health education workshops, campus infrastructure improvements, and culturally appropriate programs, in promoting healthy behaviors. Despite the recognized benefits, barriers such as lack of time, motivation, and resources remain significant obstacles. Recommendations include conducting assessments of program implementation, increasing awareness campaigns, and addressing specific needs through policy and environmental changes. This study underscores the need for holistic and targeted strategies to foster healthier lifestyles among college students, contributing to their academic success and overall quality of life. |
