Sustainable Practices in Sales Distribution and Logistics A Case Study of Unilever

Abstract Sustainability has become a key concern in all industries, and logistics and sales distribution are no exception. The growing importance of reducing environmental impact and improving social responsibility has prompted companies to incorporate sustainable practices into their logistics operations. This paper examines the role of sustainability in sales distribution and logistics, focusing on the environmental, economic, and social dimensions of sustainability. Key sustainable practices in logistics such as green transportation, energy-efficient warehousing, and reverse logistics are explored. The paper also highlights the challenges and opportunities companies face in adopting sustainable practices and discusses the impact of these practices on operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
