Abstract | The research investigates the impact of the "always-on" culture at Magna Automotive India Pvt Ltd, characterized by constant connectivity and expectations of availability beyond working hours. Data collected from 80 employees through surveys and interviews reveals that this culture negatively affects work-life balance, leading to increased stress, burnout, reduced job satisfaction, and health issues like sleep disturbances and anxiety. Employees expressed a need for organizational interventions to promote well-being and work-life balance. The study emphasizes the importance of addressing these challenges through effective policies and practices. Limitations include the focus on one organization, self-reported data, and a short-term study scope, suggesting the need for broader, long-term research. |
