Abstract A study of 36 female patients at the Palakkad Institute of Medical Sciences in Kerala, India, examined the patterns of clinically benign breast diseases in females. Out of 36 cases, 33 presented with breast lumps, with 15 diagnosed as fibroadenoma, accounting for 42% of cases. Other common conditions included fibroadenosis/fibrocystic disease and breast abscesses. The study found that fibroadenoma was the most common, and 38% of patients were managed conservatively. The clinical diagnosis was accurate in 91.6% of cases.
