Abstract | Cancer ranks among the top causes of death globally, and current treatments like radiation and chemotherapy often come with notable side effects. Natural compounds particularly those found in citrus fruits like hesperidin, offer potential advantages and benefits in dealing with the illness by impacting the biological processes such as oxidative stress and inflammation. Natural products are not a replacement for medicine, but they can complement standard traditional therapies. Hesperidin, known for its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and liver-protecting properties, also shows promise in cancer treatment by affecting key cellular pathways involved in cell growth, apoptosis, and angiogenesis. Additionally, it may boost the effectiveness of existing cancer treatments when used in combination with other drugs or natural substances |
