Abstract | Consumers and customers must be aware of the importance of digital payments in today's world. There are several reasons for this, such as digital India and the mechanization of e-documentation. Physical payment is becoming increasingly important nowadays for various reasons, including time and security. This enabled e-payment techniques such as internet banking, which was further simplified by Android mobile phones. Having this in mind, the research was designed to focus on consumer behavior toward UPI (Unified Payments Interface). The goal of this study is to learn about consumer perception and satisfaction. The research design used in this study is descriptive research design, with the primary data collection method along with a structured questionnaire which constitutes 82 respondents and the statistical techniques used are chi-square analysis. The study finds that gender does not exhibit a substantial influence on either perception or satisfaction levels regarding UPI payments. While the habit of dealing in cash persists among both genders, the data shows no statistically significant link to gender-specific attitudes toward digital transactions. The study was restricted only to Surat District. |
